My NaNoWriMo Journey-Day 12-
I didn’t get any writing done for NaNoWriMo as I went to a National Women’s Show and spent most of the day there. That wasn’t my intention, but there were some impressive things and I came away with some goodies for Xmas, along with an Android tablet that I got free!
I, however, did my newsletter, so guess that’ll be all the writing for today.
I mentioned in my newsletter that autumn is drawing to a close, and soon what will remain of those beautiful colourful trees will be leafless branches and the chill of the winter will be on the horizon. For many of you living in the four seasons, melancholy will set in as you turn inward mentally to reflect.
I always ruminate around this time and give thanks for my achievements over the past year and review my non-achievements. With the latter, I’ve learned not to be hard on myself. I simply add it to my new plan for the following year.
As such, I don’t feel bad about not achieving any writing re NaNoWriMo today. I’m really glad, though, that I committed to the journey, as I’m enjoying writing the sequel to Whisper of Lies.
